LAND CLEARING/ MULCHING

We provide customized land clearing services that are cost-effective and environmentally-friendly. Our land clearing/mulching services include:

  • ROW (right of way) clearing and maintenance
  • Site preparation
  • New Road mulching
  • Land Clearing
  • Grubbing
  • Root Raking

Mulching is a method of clearing land in which a mulcher machine or attachment cuts, grinds, and clears vegetation in a highly-efficient and environmentally-friendly way. Selected underbrush, vegetation, and/or trees can be removed without damaging the surrounding area or roots of wanted vegetation. Once the selected area is mulched, the ground-up (mulched) vegetation sits on the topsoil which can help prevent erosion. Eventually, this mulch will decompose and return natural nutrients back into the ground which enriches the soil structure and fertility.

  • Provides selective clearing: an entire area can be cleared, or only specific vegetation removed.
  • Much less invasive and destructive than other methods of clearing.
  • Decomposition improves soil fertility.
  • Eliminates need for burning brush piles since cleared vegetation is ground into mulch.
  • Can reduce erosion.
  • Can help mitigate wildfire risk.

SOIL CEMENT STABILIZATION

Soil Cement Stabilization is a process that involves adding cement to other materials we are building with, such as regular dirt or soil, to improve the material’s subgrade strength and therefore create a stronger foundation. Oftentimes, we will cement-stabilize the strongback of a pad site–where the drilling rig will sit–so that the strongback foundation can better support a rig that could be over 1 million pounds!

RECLAMATION SERVICES

Cenizo is passionate about caring for land, wildlife, and the environment in our work. We offer reclamation services to restore areas where pad sites or reserve pits have been built but are no longer in use to natural ground elevation and habitat. To reclaim pad sites, we strip unoriginal materials, such as rock, and seed the area with native grasses and plants. To reclaim pits, we level the land then seed it.
